No no fcelch, it is not a general ban against fire in the summer in Norway. The ban is only valid in forests, the word used in the law is "skogkledd mark". This will be about "forestcovered ground". When you are in the mountains you are allowed to have a campfire. But since you are far from wood, it will be a problem to find something to burn. But if you bring this with you its ok to make a fire.
Of course if the ground in the mountain is very dry and could lead to an uncontrolled fire, its forbidden.
