Just some more info here for those that read norwegian or know how to work a translator-program. Not surprisingly the unusual amount of the fungus is due to the unusual wet weather that Julia and others have mentioned.

For the tourists the bad weather does not have a silver lining. But for Julia and others that live in the south part of Norway, the predictions are that the electricity bill will be less this winter as the water reservoars for the hydro powerplants are filled to the brim.

Ich bin auch am Montag aus der Hardangervidda zurückgekommen.

Bis auf den Starttag Wetter katastrophal. Bin fünf Tage lang im Schlamm versunken. Teilweise die Berge auf allen vieren raufgekrochen.
Alles war so sumpfig das an Zeltaufstellen nicht zu denken war.
Nach fünf Tagen hatte ich in Liseth die Schnauze voll und bin nach Oslo gefahren.
Dort war größtenteils bester Sonnenschein und ich hatte noch fünf schöne Tage.

Wens interessiert "Seal Skins " Socken sind der größte Dreck. hielten ca 15 minuten trocken dann war Ende.

Das war mein teuerster Trekking Urlaub aller zheiten.
