Hi, nach nur vier Jahren nach Kauf (= ein Jahr nach Auslaufen der Garantie ) hat sich bei meinem MSR Nook die Innen-PU-Beschichtung verabschiedet - das offenbar bekannte Problem mit der klebrigen Degeneration. Betroffen sind auch die Nahtverklebungen:

Der MSR Kundenservice empfiehlt mir:
- entweder kostenpflichtig ein neues Innenzelt zu bestellen (großzügig..)
- oder wie folgt mit Spiritus, Tent Sure und Seam Grip zu reparieren:
Another less expensive option would be to remove the old waterproofing and reapply a new layer.
a. Wipe the inside of the fly with rubbing alcohol. This will strip the old layer of waterproofing.
i. If the seam tape is peeling, cut off any hanging bits and leave any parts that are still sticking in place.
b. Tent Sure and Seam Grip are two products made by McNett. You can apply the Seam Grip to the seams, and paint the Tent Sure onto the surface of the inside of the inner tent.
We have tested both of these products and they are highly effective.
Hat jemand Erfahrung mit so einer Reperatur? Haut das hin? Geht die alte Schicht ab? Kann man sich auf die Dichtheit verlassen?
Auf ein neues Innenzelt (kostet sicher 200+ Euro) hab ich eigentlich keine Lust (was ist, wenn sich nächstes Jahr die Beschichtung des Außenzeltes verabschiedet?).
