Open huts and sheds in Norway

I just discovered that one person had taken the trouble of getting all open and free huts, sheds ond shelters marked in one map. The map is here https://www.google.com/maps/d/viewer...LrmGMJoJW_B53s

I hope someone may have use for this. Sorry only Norwegian text to explain what the hut/shed has of facilities.

Correction. The huts are all OPEN, but some of them expect you to pay for the stay. The shelters and sheds are free.

Arough overview left me with the impression, that the list excludes the DNT huts, but gives a good way to look for alternatives.

No, all DNT cabins that are kept open bei their associations (e.g. Setedalsheiane, Saltfjell, and others) are shown. Which makes the map a bit confusing.

If this is kept up and always up to date, it's a good additional source of information.

But I'd never rely upon communal cabins/ hunters' cabins to be open. This can change very suddenly, especially when open cabins are systematically promoted by maps like this...

I stayed in two Statskog cabins this winter actually (Havga and Stor Rosta in/near Dividalen NP). Nice places!

Das ist ein wichtiger Hinweis. Habe ich auch schon erlebt, obwohl ich fast nie in Hütten schlafe. Wer ganz ohne Zelt unterwegs ist, sollte das vor der Tour noch mal überprüfen.

Bei den kommunalen Hütten kann man ja bei der entsprechenden Gemeindeverwaltung oder Touristinfo nachfragen, ob sie noch offen stehen, aber bei den privaten Hütten dürfte das kaum möglich sein. Da kann von heute auf morgen ein Schloss angebracht sein. Statskog-Hütten sind da verlässlicher, man kann sie auf folgender Seite checken:
